		Value Adjustment Board Meeting
		Edward J. Butler Governmental Office Complex 9 East Jefferson St. - Room 101 Quincy, FL 32351                                                                                                                The Gadsden County Value Adjustment Board will hold its organizational meeting on September 8th, 2023 at 10:00 p.m. in the County Commission Chambers.  It is open to the public for observation.                                                                                                      Public hearings on VAB petitions will be held on Monday and Tuesday, October 9th & 10th, 2023 beginning at 9:00 a.m. each day. These hearings will also be held in the County Commission Chambers at the address noted above.  In an effort to enhance fairness, the VAB Board will hear and act on tax payer requests for relief regarding the assessed values on their real and tangible personal property.
		A meeting will be held October 17th, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. for board decisions on VAB petitions.  It is open to the public for observation.

		In accordance with Section 286.26, Florida Statutes, persons needing a special accommodation to participate in this proceeding should contact the Facilities Management Division 850-627-4035. Parking is available in the rear parking lot located at the corner of Adams and Crawford St. You may enter the building from the rear.
		The deadline for filing VAB Petitions is Sep. 8th, 2023 at 5 p.m.  The filing fee is $15.00 and the mailing address is 10 E. Jefferson Street, Quincy, FL 32351 or PO Box 1649, Quincy, FL 32353.
