Ratification of Clerk’s Designee to Act as Clerk to VAB

  Rowan/Helms ratify Muriel Straughn as VAB Clerk   4 – 0

Nominations and Election of Chairman to Value Adjustment Board (VAB)

 

  Rowan/Helms nominate Commissioner Croley to remain as Chairman  - declared by acclaimation.

Rule Chapter 12-D-9; FAC   -

 

Copies provided to each board member and additional copies available to the public.

 

8.

Florida’s Government in the Sunshine Law

 

VAB meetings are subject to the Florida Sunshine Law and a copy of a book (containing pertinent Sunshine Law information), should be in the room at all times.  A copy of the book can be obtained from The First Amendment Foundation at 336 E. College Ave. Suite 300, Tallahassee, FL 32301 or by calling 850-222-3518.  

 

The book is available for review in the Clerk ‘s  Office, Office of the County Administrator as well as the public library.

Discussion of  Local Administrative Issues

Gadsden County has not adopted additional local administrative processes and procedures, but follows those as outlined by the Florida Statutes and Administrative Rules.

Adoption and Ratification of the Filing Fee of $15.00

  Helms/McMillan    retain the same  filing fee.
