Meeting Called to Order:

 

Judge Parsons called the meeting to order.

 

Approvals of September 2013 Minutes:   

 

 Minutes from October 31, 2013 were approved and signed by Judge.

 

Officer Sellers and Officer Powell was sworn at the start of the meeting for testimony that would be given throughout the course of the hearings.

Mr. Sellers said property is overgrown a mobile home is on the property. If they could just clean grounds. Eyesore to neighborhood, mobile home could stay if property is cleaned. Property has been posted.

 

Judge Parsons entered order to have property cleaned.

 

 

Case No. 13-194

Moselle Butler - NP

Mr. Sellers said it is an old depilated building. The building needs to be removed. Grounds can return to nature. Owner lives in New York. Property has been posted and notices were returned.

 

Judge Parsons entered order to have building removed and allow grounds to grow back to natural stage.

Mr. Sellers said she has an old building that is a mobile home that has a piece that is fallen down, which should be removed. He asked that they give her 30 days to remove the lien too and debris surrounding it.

 

 

Judge Parsons continued case for 30 days to remove the damaged structure and clean debris surrounding home. If complied case will be dismissed.

Mr. Sellers said she has a lot of issues, has several properties, a house with a lot of junk and trash and the junk and trash and yard needs to be cleaned. Old trailer on the next property that needs to be removed. Hogs are walking around and need to be moved to another location. Neighbors are complaining about the condition. Area is not zoned for livestock. There is another photo with a lot of junk and house that is ok. He presented another picture with junk vehicles and yard needs to be cleaned and cars need to be moved. Poarch needs to be cleaned.

 

Mrs. McBride said at 737 yard needs to be cleaned. She said she has only 3 vehicles that need tags and registration, the one with commodes are used as flower pots and the one not used will be thrown away. White van has been removed from property. Concession stand should be cleaned, the surroundings. She then referenced 886 Schwall Road, Hogs and Hogs Pin have always been there.

 

Mr. Sellers asked her can she relocate the hog pin.

 

She said that she has a total of 40 acres and agreed they could be moved. She asked could she get a variance to allow the hogs.

 

Judge Parsons continued case for 30 days to allow her to clean property and relocate the hogs to another part of the property. All unsightly places on the property to be cleaned.

Mr. Powell said there are 3 houses on one lot that have been used for rental property that are vacant, the homes are overgrown and debris all over the property. Sewage and odor is a problem. Housing probably can be repaired.

 

Judge Parsons entered order for to take corrected action.

Mr. Powell said this house is in Havana, she has been posted and noticed. He said he doesn’t know why she is not here. House is unsafe and an eyesore to the community. He stated someone is going in and out of the house. He noted the property and house are for sale.

 

Judge Parsons entered order for her to repair or demolish home and clean grounds.

 

Last Thursday in January next building.
