Mobile Home needs to be demolished

 

Mr. Brown said nephew left mobile home on property that he has sold.

 

Judge Parson continued to case for 30 days to be removed or be repaired so it meets Code Standards. Can’t fix up because of the age.

 

Joan Henderson present said it’s on heir property; there is nothing wrong with the property.

 

Debbie said the mobile home can’t be removed because it’s older than 20 years. It will require a code requirement compliance process; inspector would need to go out.

 

Mr. Brown said he would give her $1500 for trailer and Ms. Henderson agreed to accept. Mr. Brown said after he got title he would tear down.

Discussed trailer rental and property issues.

 

Officer Sellers said the trailer is in terrible condition. He needs to get Code Compliance Inspection, it needs to be brought up to Code. He needs to fix roof. It must be decent livable Code. It can be demolished.

 

Debbie said they need to get a permit to have it demolished or to have it repaired.

 

Judge Parsons said the property needs to be cleaned up and brought up to Code Standards.

 

Code Enforcement Officer from Havana introduced himself and talked about working together.

 

Judge Parsons asked for copy of Ordinance – Interlocal Agreement.
