Meeting Called to Order

 

Judge Parsons called the meeting to order.

 

 

Approval of the May 26, 2016 Minutes

 

Judge Parsons approved the minutes of May 26, 2016.

 

 

Old Business- Continued Cases

 

Case No. 14-180  

Donnell Dawkins - P

Parcel ID Number 2 22 3N 6W 0000 00343 0100

Violation: Failed to comply with Order to cease operating a junk yard business and illegally storing vehicles on property which is in violation of Gadsden County’s Code of Ordinances.

 

Judge Parsons sworn Mr. Dawkins. Judge Parson’s said you have committed more violations.

 

Mr. Powell said no cars should be on the East side of the road, only personal vehicles.

 

  Mr. Dawkins said he thought he could  . He said that he plans to put a pull barn.

 

  Judge Parsons said the question in concern is the East side of the property.    Judge Parsons said they have been dealing with this problem for the last 10 years. I frequent the property often. You can’t do anything on the property, because it is not zoned. You can’t put the vehicles there. I will oppose fine $500.00 and court cost on $250.00.

 

He said that seek injunction to help stop with violations that would be filed with the circuit court, which you can be given jail time.

 

 

Case No. 14-199

Randolph Kyllonen and Johnette Kyllonen - P  

Parcel ID Number 2 27 3N 5W 0000 00331 0100

Violation: Failed to comply with Order to remove all junk, trash, old vehicles and mobile home parts from property which is in violation of Gadsden County’s Code of Ordinances.

 

Judge Parsons sworn all participants as to their testimony.

 

Mr. Powell said this a continuance case about not keeping the property up and it has become a hazardous. He said he has seen no progress dating.

 

   Mrs. Kyllonen said the property has been cleaned. She said she was the one maintaining the property.

 

Judge Parsons asked did they just clean the property.

 

Mrs. Kyllonen said they are cleaning and we try to keep debris in one spot. She said they plan to put a fence.

 

Judge Parsons said at this point they will put up a fine. He said she was in violation. He said you are supposed to keep the property clean and livable. He said he would impose fine $1,000 for $50.00 days for 20 days. He also imposed $250.00 to cover court cost within 30 days.

 

 

Case No. 15-003

Cox Lane, LLC

Parcel ID Number 3 24 2N 4W 0000 00213 1000

Violation: Failed to comply with Order to remove old mobile homes from property and clean hazardous debris in order to comply with Gadsden County’s Code of Ordinances.

 

 2nd case Kyllonen

 

Judge Parsons said his relocation is that you were supposed to have property cleaned up. Old tires will need to be removed, cut wood and that they could dispose tires at Public Works.

 

 Kyllonen said people are living in the mobile homes. There are no mobile homes to be removed. The old ones have been removed. She said the only thing is limbs and the older mobile homes have been removed.

 

Judge Parsons said case would be continued for 30 days.
