INVOCATION, PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Chair welcomed everyone to meeting at 6:01 pm, asked everyone to stand for moment of silence and led in Pledge. She then called meeting to order at 6:02 pm.

Grant said 7 insufficient info/9 pulled at request of Chair. Holt said need more info; just bought 2 and need to look at how being purchased-what line item is for being funded
Dixon said would not be purchased with CARES way others were purchased. Can bring back in next meeting when he was more clear where money coming from.

Commissioner Eric Hinson, District 1 Hinson said had few residents that had heartburn of closing of
office during the holidays
Grant said impossible-in order to procure balance of 55%, had to be turned in by December 3rd
Hinson asked what if could give couple of days and not 3 days. Holt said documentation had to be turned in. He said this does not relate to what Grant said-this is just application for them to apply.
Holt said because of draw-down, can’t apply for CARES Act money, already been drawn-down.
Hinson said this was for the deadline, board made that decision-just for application, nothing to do with receiving funds.
Hinson said he called Grant last night, constituent in 80’s and issue was housing. Thanked Board for reaching out trying to find as much money as can. Few years ago took emergency money out and asked that be put back on Agenda and be addressed. Want on Agenda for next meeting, going to vote for $25,000 per district.

Commissioner Kimblin NeSmith, District 3 NeSmith thanked Interim Grant and staff-debris on Lincoln Drive-debris was removed and thanked Public Works

Commissioner Brenda Holt, District 4 Holt told Dixon want to have 4:00 workshop before meetings to give opportunities to ask questions and to look at setting goals
Want to see goals and objectives from previous workshop
Have Proclamation for Mrs. Maggie S. King for her 100th birthday.
V said during retreat, Commissioners were developing Mission Statement and he read that aloud.
Grant said in connection with 4:00 briefing meeting, for next 2 meetings have workshops already scheduled before meeting; one for Sheriff Department Recruitment and Retention Plan and other is Comp Plan.
Grant said second meeting in January was for how to fund rural fire departments
Brenda said may have to start meeting at 3:00 p.m. then roll into other workshops, then meeting
Hinson asked about CBOR-Holt said needed to go back to P&Z
Knowles explained
NeSmith said quickly, thought discussed last week about developing plan for County Administrator, Holt said would be brought back
Green said for Mother King will be December 6th at 2:00 p.m.; line-up at Shelfer and Elm Street, encouraging all participants to stay in cars-will be drive-by celebration

Dixon asked that commissioners contact staff-He would like to have standing meeting with each of Commissioners.
