On 1/21, local representative will be here, Senator Lorann Ausley and Rep. Ramon Alexander
Leslie Steele appeared and gave a report
Nesmith asked for clarification of when their lists were due. Steele
Dixon said he expected every department to bring funding opportunities that were specific to their area.

CITIZENS REQUESTING TO BE HEARD ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS Due to COVID-19 and the efforts of Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners to continue the practice of social distancing, Commissioners want to continue to hear from citizens under the Citizens Requesting to be Heard section of the agenda.

Public Hearing-Adoption of Ordinance No. 2018-003, An Ordinance of the Board of County Commissioners of Gadsden County, Florida adopting Chapter 66, Article III of the Gadsden County Code of Ordinances, the Gadsden County Emergency Repair Program; providing for repeal, severability, inclusion in the Gadsden County Code of Ordinances, modifications that may arise from considering at a Public Hearing, and correction of Scrivener’s errors; and providing for an effective date. This was requested by Hinson. Asked that this be discussed tonight to make sure route they want to go.
Green asked where $ would come from. Dixon said this was their money, would find line item to fund it.
Hinson wanted to add had discretionary funds that each Commissioner could receive so they can choose what they want to do. Need to make sure have right people there. With discretionary funds, Commissioner could use money as they choose.

Public Hearing – Legislative- Adoption of Ordinance 2020-006, Jett Large Scale Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Map Amendment (LSPA 2020-01) Linda Quigley appeared to discuss the Jett Comp Plan and tonight is for the final adoption.

Approval of Use of the Language Line Solutions service through the State of Florida Contract Number 90121702-20-ACS Tomeka Rollins appeared to explain the Language Line Solutions service. Service is needed to break the barriers. Hinson asked if that was probation, was hard to hear. He asked how could they stay there, was it safe because the office was so small.

Public Works Roof Replacement Change-Order Number One Allan Meeks appeared before the Board to explain this item.
Holt said she would not recommend this at all. Dixon said the work has been completed
Knowles pointed out this was damage from hurricane and was insurance money in coffers.

Ralph Strong Road Sidewalk Project FDOT LAP Agreement Curtis Young appeared before the Board to explain this item.
Sidewalk will run from US 90 to Crossroads Academy

Florida Department of Health, Bureau of EMS Matching Grant Chief Maddox appeared remotely Had funded in budget $18.000 because was uncertain what would be needed

St. Hebron Walk and Bike for Life Trail Change Order Number One Allan Meeks re-appeared before the Board regarding this item. Reallocating funds with project-funds in budget. |

Bid Award for the Massey Building Roof and Structural Repair Item will be tabled tonight.

Terms and Conditions Agreement between Butterfly Network, Inc. and Gadsden County Emergency Services Maddox appeared remotely and explained this item.

FCI Contract Dixon appeared to explain item. Spoke with FCI and FCI has given start date and agreed to buy-back unused devices. Agreed to closing date of 2/21/2022
