CALL TO ORDER, INVOCATION, PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Chair called meeting to order at 6:01 p.m., asked for moment of silence and then led in Pledge of Allegiance

CITIZENS REQUESTING TO BE HEARD (3-Minute Limit) Anyone wishing to speak on agenda items or non-agenda items should schedule or notify the County Administrator’s Office before attending the meeting and will be asked to follow the Gadsden County Public Meetings Citizens Access Guidelines. Also, public comment for Commission meetings can be submitted via email to CitizensToBeHeard@gadsdencountyfl.gov until 11:00 a.m. August 17, 2021. Comments submitted after the deadline but prior to the meeting will be added to the official record, but the County cannot guarantee that Commissioners and staff will have adequate time to review comments prior to the meeting. Commissioner Green read the above statement.

Georgette Daniels appeared before the Board.

Final Budget Public Hearing for Adoption of Countywide Milage Rate
V asked about the millage rate.
Daniels read aloud the Resolution for the Millage rate.
Holt announced public hearing and asked if anyone wished to speak
4-1 Hinson opposed. |

Final Budget Public Hearing for Adoption of FY2021/2022 Countywide Budget Daniels read aloud the Resolution
Holt announced public hearing and asked if anyone wished to speak and there was no-one.
Holt asked for motion.
V said some items before them and asked for them to be explained and displayed on monitor. While waiting for it to be displayed, Holt asked V is he wanted to go ahead and ask his questions. He said he asked for it to be displayed for transparency for the public.
Daniels explained the Revenue Summary.
V had questions.
Courthouse Security-why decreased?
NeSmith asked on second page for Court Services, there was no budgeted amount. Reallocation of funds.
V motion to adopt Resolution/NeSmith second 4-1 Hinson opposed.
