  Steele stated they need to add an additional item for the 2025 Lake Proam Tournament sponsorship in amount of $7500 

  Motion to add Lake Proam Tournament sponsorship to agenda

Harris/ Simpkins 5-0  

  Steele stated this would come from line 2811

  Simpkins gave review of Lake ProAm Tournament; first year that TDC has been involved

   Steele stated the $7500 would generate into bed tax; it would also be televised on tv. Sponsor logo will be on shirts, etc.

  Steele stated it was recommended to approve pay; they were working on TDC ordinance with attorney  

  Dubree asked how many competitors are in it; Simpkins stated not sure, maybe 50 or more. The event lasts a weekend

c.       Discussion and Action for approval of Marketing Strategy

 (Leslie D. Steele, Tourist Development Administrator, Dante Filyau and Michael Hall TDC Marketing Firm MediumFour)

  Steele presented

  Michael Hall, MediumFour, appeared through Zoom. They are now in Phase 2  

   Steele asked for update on market research

  Hall presented

  Harris asked what would they charge; Steele stated 120k yearly

  Steele went through adjusted top 6 months for marketing efforts.

  Steele rec to start with Gadsden Heartbeats for campaign strategy

  Chair asked what these hotels & bed & breakfast could do to attract

  Dubree asked if approving the whole thing; TDC and community needs more input before jumping into a campaign

  Steele stated did not need to approve all of it; could give directives

  Attorney stated to recommend to approve website and have meeting to have more time to discuss

     Simpkins stated she agreed with Dubree on not approving entire campaign yet; wanted to vote on website

  Simpkins asked if have set budget amount for website; Steele stated 25k and they have the money and was already approved.

  Dubree motion to approve marketing website and branding and have further discussion on campaigns/ Harris

  Attorney recommended to call special meeting      

  Dubree amended motion to include 40K budget for weeks 9-24/ Harris 5-0

  Chair stated to set date for meeting
