   Chair called workshop to order.

  Morris stated Town of Havana made a request for 2 lift stations; repair cost exceeds one million

 

  Morris stated City of Quincy requested infiltration – 58 mill for new waste water treatment plan 

 

  Chattahoochee – 500k for congo lift station

 

   BOCC requested eco-tourism - 

Advanced opioid recovery center

 

Simpkins appeared at 5:49 p.m.

 

  Chair stated for the board to talk about their needs

  Green mentioned boys & girls club

 

  Simpkins stated current senate president is asking about projects already funded

 

  Holt stated infrastructure money was going to be a separate pot   

 

   Green asked Morris on timeframe for bidding process for projects – Morris stated has to be 30 days

 

   Al Lawson asked what kind of rec they received from chamber - Chair stated they did not get one

 

  Lawson asked if they were prepared to rank these priorities for the local delegation on the 24th

 

  Baptiste stated did receive copy of contract regarding lease for boys & girls club; neither version of contract is complete.

 

  Lawson stated need to set 4 or 5 priorities tonight.

 

  Lawson asked if courthouse needed more money; Chair stated they need to start thinking about that.

 

  Morris mentioned historical grant in amount of 300k for courthouse.

 

  Simpkins stated to go with lift stations as one of the priorities.

  Green stated city of Quincy was requesting…

 

  T.J. Lewis appeared. 

 

  Lawson stated could move delegation to the 27th

 

  Attorney asked if want to vote on this list or…

 

   Lawson stated #1 has to be shovel-ready project

 

  Green stated to add Boys & Girls as #4 priority
