Confident that it will build. Seeing 50-60 patients a day. Local doctors are sending patients there for diagnostics.

Larry Ganus “Is it legal and proper to advertise a PH then pull it from the agenda at the last minute? There is no prohibition to remove an item from the agenda or agenda it at a later date. Are we ready to proceed on Frank Smith Road? A change order will be necessary after contract is awarded. Work should begin soon. Chris Forehand, Preble Rish – need two permits – DEP and Corp – expect activity within 2 weeks.
Sterling Watson How is it that you all did not know about the money available for the public works projects? Are we sure that no one from Public Works will be laid off? Has any of the work been completed. Is there work being done on park in Havana? Work has ceased.

Would like to see recognition for the citizens committee that served on the hospital issue that worked for the hospital and was responsible for the success of the referendum
James Malloy 1391 Bassett Road; Thing that troubled him is that there seems to be an attempt to discredit the Sheriff. Also under the impression that there is money earmarked for the sheriff but never given to the Sheriff. There is a safety issue in this county and would like to see the Sheriff’s budget increase. How did the information get to the front page of the Tallahassee Democrat? No one had knowledge of it.
Sam Hawkins Look at Robert’s rule of order – you can yield time. There is no form for public records request. He made two public records request that have not been responded to. Minnis – there are penalties for not complying with public records request. Croley asked Hawkins a question at the debates -

Olga Connolly Children’s Program at Library 538 signatures on petition for support of children’s programs at the Library Where are we with the line item request we made in June? They have not been notified. What can we do to have input on that budget?

Direction to CA to look to see what can be done to expedite the process to get the jail locks and boiler. Possibly declare it an emergency and waive the normal procurement process. Is safety in jeopardy because of the locks? Clyde to meet with Captain Morgan on Wednesday morning.

Commissioner Morgan, District 3 – Library Funding - Upcoming workshop August 12; need to talk about the jail. Perhaps formulate a committee to discuss and analyze the jail and then come back to the board for recommendation. Asked the administrator to put on the next agenda.
District 4 – No Items
Commissioner Taylor, District 5 Wants to find out if the jail doors needs to be addressed as an emergency procurement. EMS Report by Sheriff – What is the status? Report on this at next meeting. Insurance -
Commissioner Croley, Vice Chairman, District 2 – Health Insurance Clarification on operational responsibility – Railroad Crossing at Jamison Road – rough crossing. Public Works has no jurisdiction. PW has written to them requesting improvement. Could county engineering firm communicate with CSX to request maintenance?

Commissioner Lamb, Chairman, District 1 – Yield to the attorney for clarification on Roberts Rules of Order.
