1. Call to Order

Chair Holt called the meeting to order. She then explained the purpose of the meeting and asked everyone to introduce themselves.
Mr. Harold Emerich asked that we keep Mr. Buddy Pitts in their thoughts as his health is not the best, which is way.
Awards, Presentations and Appearances
2. Recognition of Mr. Max
Fletcher
(Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners) – Presented for years of service
by Commissioner Morgan and the Board presented to the Town of Greensboro. One
was presented to Mr. Fletcher and one to the Town of Greensboro for his service
throughout 1984-2016 for over 30 years.

3. Legislative Priorities
(Robert M. Presnell, County Administrator)
Mr. Presnell said yearly they make legislative priorities in a unified voice. He asked for guidance and asked for the Managers to have the authority to work for you. Strategic Plan Workshop for Gadsden County for the next 2 years. He said ranking projects really helps. He said it was his desire to help with some of their desires.
Mr. Emerich said they were successful in getting a water grant to replace old transite pipping and valve. He said they where able to get it done with CDBG and the . He said it will take a year for the project to be complete.
Chair Holt asked did they serve citzens out of the City limits.
Mr. Emerich said they support their sister city in the City of Gretna. Electical Reduntacy at the Fire Department,TownHall, and Library. He said they need at least one that would probably

The local 11th street north falling apart.
Dr. V. commented on roads in Quincy that are dire need that need fixing.
Mr. Presnell said if it was joint owned you could, but no if it’s just in the City. Contractors may be able to assist.
Atty. Weiss said if no road is a part of the County than you can’t.
Toole thanked them for paving road. Mr. Presnell said thank Commissioner Morgan.
Mr. Emerich thanked the Chair for putting this together.
Holt mentioned Depot, Swamp Gravy- can you do something that can draw people. A day festivial, she mentioned different grants.
Mr. Alday asked about improving the law enforcement.
Mr. Emerich said the Sheriff would be at the next Council Meeting.
Kennedy asked for funds for sewage in Greensboro
Toole status on the Solar Farm.
Mr. Presnell said they have not heard from the older one. He said they have been approached by two other projects. He mentioned the comp plan that the language was changed to accomdate.
Willis thanked County
for helping to get industry. He said working with the City of Gretna to help
with the water. Mentioned the 4th of July fireworks display. He
asked for any help with that and said anything that would appreciate. Asked
that they keep Buddy Pitts in your prayers.
4. Capital Region
Transportation Planning Agency (CRTPA) Appointment

Dr. V. said it may not be an issue on CRTPA. He recommended the City Manager work with the other City Managers to decide how they want to handle. He explained the process.
Mr. Emerich said they can work together to get a system together.
Hinson commented it was a pleasure to work with them.
Presnell said if they all can agree they will get funded, unity is what they are looking for.
Holt mentioned Gadsden
County Day to lobby at the Capital.
